Museum
Nestled within the Westfield
village green, surrounded by majestic shade trees and manicured
lawns, is a unique learning experience for children and adults alike:
the McClurg Museum and History Center. Operated by the Chautauqua
County Historical Society (CCHS), the museum offers a rare glimpse
of life in Chautauqua County.

Electric Utility Association
The Municipal Electric
Utilities Association of New York State (MEUA) was formed in
1930. The object of this association is to foster and advance
the efficient
operation of publicly owned and operated electric systems including the production,
distribution, conservation and prudent use of electric power and energy for public
service. It is operated for the mutual benefit of all members and does not engage
in business for profit.

Power Authority
Since 1961, our village has purchased
its electricity from the New York Power Authority, specifically
the nearby Niagara Power Project. This site provides

State Archives
The New York State Archives was established
in 1971 and opened its doors to the public in 1978. It is a
program of the State Education
Department, with its main facility located in the Cultural Education
Center on Madison Avenue in Albany. There it cares for and provides
access to more than 130 million documents that tell the story of
New York from the seventeenth century to the present.
From its
main facility, it also administers statewide programs that reach
out to state agencies, local governments and community organizations.
Archives staff are located in nine regional offices around the
State to address the archives and records management concerns
of every
area of the State.
Funds for the development of this website
were provided through a grant from the New York State Archives,
Local Government Records
Management Improvement Fund NYSA-LGRMIF.

Northern Chautauqua
Canine Rescue
NCCR is
a non-profit rescue group dedicated to finding homes for the
neediest dogs and puppies in our area — the strays, the
orphaned, the
abandoned. In addition to providing Westfield and the surrounding
area with canine rescue services, the co-directors of NCCR
also serve Westfield as Dog Control Officers.

Mayors & Municipal Officials (NYCOM)
NYCOM provides
legislative advocacy, research support, education and training
services to municipal leaders across New York State.
NYS GIS Clearinghouse
The
New York State Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Clearinghouse,
operated by the New York State
Office for Technology, was established to disseminate information
about New York's Statewide GIS Coordination Program and to provide
access to the New York State GIS Metadata and Data Repository.

of access to information services provided by New York State
Government agencies, the State Legislature and the Judiciary.

The mission of the Patterson Library is to advance
the quality of life in the community of Westfield by providing

users of all ages in pursuit of knowledge and provides collections, services

West Regional Planning & Development Board
The Southern
Tier West Regional Planning & Development Board's
mission is to help coordinate and enhance planning and development
activities in Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua Counties, so
as to promote the social, physical, and ecomomic development of
these counties.
Teen Center
Organized
and staffed by local dedicated volunteers Joe & Ellen
DeBiso (and other parents) under the auspices of the Recreation
Department, these community-minded folks have worked hard at
providing local teens ages 13-18 with a great place to hang out
and have

The Westfield Development Corporation
is a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating economic
development within the Town
and Village of Westfield. The WDC actively works within the
community as a leader and catalyst for economic growth and for
an enriched quality of life.
Westfield Memorial Hospital
Westfield
Memorial Hospital is a voluntary, not-for-profit acute care hospital
located in Northern Chautauqua County of New York.
Established in 1942, the hospital's primary service area now consists
of 11
townships in a 300-square-mile rural area of northwestern Chautauqua
County. Our facility includes 29 medical/surgical beds, three
maternity beds and an outpatient department offering a range of diagnostic
and treatment services. Westfield Memorial Hospital also offers ambulatory
surgery, cardiac rehabilitation, CT scanning and ultrasound. We
provide such community outreach services as a prostate cancer support
group, cardiac
support group and a variety of wellness programs.
