Pipe bursting project update

Joe Yacklon, Water & Sewer Superintendent, provided the board with an update on the west side pipe bursting project. In this project, the old Water Street storm sewer line was replaced with a newer, larger diameter core line to reduce inflow and infiltration problems on the west side pump station. With all the major work completed, all that remains is for the contractor to have the work inspected by an authorized/ certified engineer and it will be accepted by the Village.

Joe will also be providing cost estimates to the Board on the West Route 20 and the Backwash projects.
